The service
StableStay is a marketplace that connects horse owners seeking boarding with stables offering it. StableStay is not a party to the boarding arrangement itself: hosts set their own prices, rules, and standards of care, and guests are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide about themselves and their horses.
Bookings and payments
A booking is a request until the host accepts it. Payment is collected when you confirm an accepted booking and is processed by Stripe. Cancellations are refunded according to the cancellation policy shown on the listing at the time of booking. Hosts who cancel a confirmed stay trigger a full refund to the guest.
Animal health and safety
Guests must provide accurate health, temperament, and care information for every horse and comply with the host's stated requirements (such as current Coggins or vaccination records). Hosts must provide the facilities and care described in their listing. Both parties acknowledge that boarding livestock carries inherent risk, and StableStay does not provide veterinary, insurance, or transport services.
Acceptable use
Don't misrepresent listings or horses, circumvent the platform to avoid fees, harass other users, or upload unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or put animals or people at risk.
AI features
AI-generated content (search interpretations, concierge answers, care briefs, listing drafts) is provided as a convenience and may contain errors. Verify important details — especially anything involving animal care — directly with the other party.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StableStay's liability arising out of any booking is limited to the amount paid through the platform for that booking. The service is provided "as is" during our beta period.
