What we collect

When you use StableStay we collect the information you give us: your name, email, phone number, profile details, horse profiles (including care notes and health documents you upload), stable listings, booking details, messages between guests and hosts, and reviews. We also collect standard technical logs (IP address, device type) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We use your information to operate the marketplace: matching travelers with stables, processing bookings and payments, enabling messaging, sending transactional emails (booking updates, receipts, password resets), and improving the product. Listing details, your first name, and reviews are visible to other users as part of how the marketplace works. Horse care details are shared with a host only when you book with them.

AI features

Our AI concierge, search, and listing tools send relevant listing, booking, and horse profile text to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate responses. This data is not used by the provider to train models. You can use StableStay without the AI features.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your data is governed by their privacy policy.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run StableStay (hosting, payments, email delivery, AI processing), with other users as described above, or when the law requires it.

Your choices

You can edit your profile at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by contacting us. We keep booking and payment records as required for accounting and dispute resolution.
